What I Offer
Individual Trauma Therapy
Sessions are collaborative, and everyone has different preferences and needs. However, I find that meeting more frequently at first helps build the foundation and create momentum.
I often work with clients for 80–90-minute sessions, though the session length can vary depending on where they are in their process and their goals. EMDRIA states that a typical EMDR session lasts from 60–90 minutes. Hypnosis sessions are 90 minutes.
Fees
- 60-minute session: $165
- 80–90 minute session: $185
EMDR + IFS Intensives
The standard weekly therapy model exists largely because of insurance mandates — not because it’s what EMDR actually needs to work best. Therapy doesn’t have to fit one rigid format. The traditional weekly model is shifting, and flexibility in how you receive support matters — especially if:
- Your schedule is demanding or unpredictable, and a recurring appointment feels like one more thing to manage.
- You’re carrying a lot right now and want to see tangible results sooner — the idea of spending a few months in weekly therapy feels impossible when you need relief sooner.
Intensives create the space and time to go deeper, without the constraints of time, with sustained and focused time to actually move through what’s keeping you stuck. Because intensives aren’t broken into short weekly sessions, they often reduce overall treatment time — you’re not spending time each week on:
- Re-orienting and checking in at the start of every session
- Managing a new concern or crisis that comes up
- Using coping skills you’ll eventually outgrow once the underlying work is done
- Helping you regroup before the session ends
Instead, that time goes straight into the work itself — reaching the roots, not just managing the surface.
- A personalized workbook to support your process.
- A “parts mapping” following each session to serve as a visual representation of the work.
- Intensives of 1.5–2 hours each.
- This can be structured across consecutive days or single sessions at a frequency that works for you.
Fees
- 1.5 hours: $325
- 2 hours: $355
Please contact me for more details about how an intensive might be the best fit for you.
Spiritual-Based Therapy
One of the saddest things I have heard from countless people and clients is some version of this: “I couldn’t tell my last therapist about this. I was afraid they’d think I was hearing voices or just call me crazy.”
De-pathologizing and de-mystifying spiritual experiences are core commitments of mine as a therapist, author, and as a human. A profound sense of connection, an unusual perception, a period of inner opening — these are not automatically signs of illness. They can also be a meaningful part of being human.
First, my work is to support you through your own discernment process without assuming the worst, so you can bring your whole experience into the room rather than editing yourself to seem “normal”.
Spiritual therapy that I offer is a trauma therapy that treats your sense of meaning, purpose, connecting and accessing something within yourself as a resource for healing. You don’t need a religion or a belief system to take part. It may be enough to notice a quiet sense inside you that there’s more to life.
Skepticism is welcome here too. Exploring spirituality can feel confusing and disorienting to step into, especially since it isn’t something our culture tends to talk about or validate as part of everyday human experience. It is even more difficult when “spiritual torchbearers” have caused harm, confusion, and contributed to shame.
- If you are ready to address past religious or spiritual-based trauma that has impacted your ability to connect within yourself.
- If you are feeling disconnected or “blocked” from accessing this resource in your inner life.
- Healing from trauma, grief, or shame seems to be connected to some inner knowing within you, and it does not add up intellectually.
- If you suspect, or are currently going through, some form of “spontaneous kundalini awakening” or “spiritual opening” in your psyche that seems to be challenging for you.
- If you are becoming aware of “more information” coming through your psyche after engaging in intensive spiritual-based activities, retreats, or psychedelic-based treatment.
Radical Pragmatism & No nonsense.
Radical pragmatism, an idea from philosopher William James: “What works for you is what is real.” We follow what genuinely reduces your suffering, so that you can deconstruct and find your own spirituality. You set your goals.
Spirituality is an internal resource that could improve our quality of life. This is an opportunity to examine how that can unfold for you. Effective and true spiritual practice should bring people closer to their suffering without shame, not serve as a way to bypass or avoid it (Falconer, 2025).
Your therapy is done with EMDR + IFS. The spiritual lens works alongside them, never in place of them. In practice, that might mean making more room for meaning and inner wisdom as you work with your past trauma as well as protective and wounded parts. I also use hypnosis as an adjunct depending on your goals. We will collaborate on what this looks like for you.
I have spent years learning and practicing how to ethically weave the spiritual dimension into therapy, and I’ve studied with leading teachers and scholars in the field.
My work draws on research from several fields, including biofield science, as well as lived and observed experiences of spirituality and its role in overall well-being. Many people worldwide have reported meaningful change in their lives, including former skeptics who have followed their own breadcrumbs toward it. However, I want to be clear about where that evidence actually stands.
Clinical psychologist Lisa Miller, PhD, has studied the neuroscience of spirituality. Her research suggests spirituality is a natural human capacity that can be strengthened and is associated with better mental health. Listen to her interview.
Biofield research, which explores whether subtle energy-related processes play a role in healing, is an emerging field of study that sits outside mainstream scientific consensus. One researcher, Dr. Shamini Jain, a psychologist who studies healing, has a TED Talk on this topic. Research organizations like the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, CHI, and more have dedicated themselves to investigating consciousness and experiences that conventional science has often set aside.
I share this not as proof that my approach works, but as the context that shapes how I practice. Many people find meaning and strength in spiritual work, and I offer it as a complement to mental health care, never a replacement for appropriate medical care.
Some people seek support in the middle of a kundalini awakening, or after a spiritual opening that leaves them overwhelmed or unsure what is happening. Sensations, emotions, and states of awareness can feel intense and hard to explain.
I use an IFS-based approach developed by Peter Legård Nielsen, an IFS Teacher, Consultant, and author, to help those struggling in this area. EMDR can also be used as needed to reprocess and let go of difficult spiritual-based experiences you’ve undergone. If you are curious, here is an article by Dr. Lissa Rankin on spiritual emergency.
Together, we can help your parts and nervous system feel steadier and make sense of what you’re experiencing, without forcing an interpretation. Spontaneous Kundalini is a Spiritually Transformative Experience (STE) that occurs through your nervous system, not a psychiatric diagnosis. When these experiences overlap with anxiety, trauma responses, or physical symptoms, it can be confusing, to say the least. I encourage you to work alongside your doctor or other providers as well.
Therapy for Therapists + Consultation
I love supporting therapists and practitioners in a thoughtful space where they can explore the curious, eager parts of themselves that want to expand their skill set, while also engaging in their own inner work.
Some therapists carry their own fears, concerns, or skepticism about certain techniques and approaches. I’ve worked with EMDR therapists who were curious about EMDR 2.0, IFS + Unattached Burdens, and spiritually-informed trauma approaches including hypnosis, and who wanted to do their own EMDR and IFS work with a therapist who has experience working with therapists.
You’ll still be treated as a client here, and we can tailor the work to your needs as a practitioner too.
