What happened to you does not have to define who you become

Trauma therapy that gets to the root — with EMDR, IFS, and hypnosis.

  • Integrative in approach

  • No-nonsense in practice

  • Depth-oriented

For people who have done years of therapy, understand their patterns, and still feel stuck.

  • You understand your trauma intellectually.
  • You’ve been in therapy for years (maybe you’re a therapist yourself).
  • You know your patterns and coping skills.
  • You still feel reactive, shut down, overwhelmed, disconnected from your body and yourself.
  • You keep white-knuckling through life — showing up, getting things done.

But underneath, you carry more than anyone knows: “not good-enough”, anxiety that won’t switch off, wounds that shape your work, relationships, and your sense of self.

Unprocessed hurt and fear don’t fade with time; it waits.

Your experiences need to be witnessed, respected, and tended to with curiosity and care. Your pain matters — it’s a messenger, not a life sentence.

I’m Sheba S. Andrew-Popp,
MSW, LCSW

An EMDRIA-Certified EMDR therapist and IFS-informed, spiritually informed trauma therapist with 12+ years’ experience helping people move past managing their pain and become a better version of themselves. Author and advocate for common-sense spirituality.

Whatever brought you here, you don’t need to edit it for me. I’ve spent years sitting with people through the hardest parts of their lives, and I don’t get easily thrown. You won’t be asked to relive everything or explain it perfectly — healing doesn’t require either. Every part of you, even the parts you’re not proud of, has a reason for being there, and I’m curious to understand and witness those reasons rather than judge them. I am also not here to “correct your shame.”

It takes courage to work through what you’ve kept hidden, and I’m honored when someone trusts me with it. From there, we work together to set down what you’ve been carrying so it stops running the show.

Some of my happiest days are when a client tells me they’ve reached a place where they can end their therapy journey because they’ve found a sense of inner freedom. I’m humbled to have witnessed many people graduate from trauma therapy and transform their pain and suffering into resilience and freedom. I also bring unique life and professional experiences that have shown me healing is possible, using what quietly resides inside us.

What you’re seeking is already waiting inside you.
